We started out fishing the oyster bars on low water as far back in the creeks as I can get the "MisStress" and right away started catching reds. As the tide came in we moved off the bars and to the edges of the drop offs and started float fishing for trout. Man, what a day. We ended with 17 trout (9 keepers), 14 reds (3 over 20 inches), 4 drum (3 over 16 inches) and one lonely 16 inch flounder. I don't think we went over 20 minutes all day without a class fish on. I wish every day was like this one. To top it all off, Pam and John were great to fish with and the weather was outstanding as well. Johns uncle, Don, was with us for the first 4 hours but had a meeting he had to attend so missed out on the major trout bite during the falling tide. My thanks to Pam, John and Don for making a good day and outstanding one. Capt. Guy
