Fishing was slow and the wind was howling. Fun was had anyway. This was the first trip on the new engine, a Yamaha 250 4 Stroke. SWEET engine. We managed to catch one keeper trout (18 inches), a couple of shorts, a 16" sheepshead and a few blufish. The wind (20 to 30 Knots and gusting higher) kept me out of my favorite spots and really kept the bite down. This time of year I would have really liked to fish the south jetty for reds and trout but with a NE wind like this it was just plane dangerous. On Friday before the wind really cranked up the trout bite was on, Tommy on the Bodacious had 14 keepers, what a difference a day makes. Well there's always tommorow and I'll be fishing Palm Coast then (for the first time in about 20 years). 'Till then, Capt. Guy
