The day after a cold front is always different. A chilly ride was had this morning with an ambiant temp of 46 degrees and a NW wind of 5-10 knots. The water temp dropped to 64.2 today from 68.4 on Friday. We started where we left them biting on the same tide and they just weren't home. Atfer the water temp came up to 66 the fish started to bite in the creeks and along the bayfront. We had an inshore slam with reds to 20 inches, speckled trout to 18 inches and one legal sheepshead. We also caught bluefish, ladyfish and jack cravelle, all on 6# line and jigs with Berkley's new "Gulp" baits. If you haven't tried these baits you really owe it to youself to give them a shot. Yes, they are expensive but they are worth every penny they cost. Well we are supposed to go offshore on Wed., lets see if the weather will be conducive. Till then: Capt. Guy
