Well the weather guessers were mostly right today, the seas were E at 1-3 with a NE wind chop of an additional 2 ft for a couple of hours arround noon. Nothing major and made for a good ride out and a following sea for the ride home. The box fish bit fair in the am and shut off when the wind came up. We had no grouper/snapper of legal size 'though we had a number of shorts that were only a 1/2 inch or so off the mark. Well thats fishin' for you. I really expected to load the boxes and we came in with 12 b-lineres in the 1-3 range, a couple of lane snapper about 2-3#s and some triggers. Not bad but not banner. See, I even report the not banner trips. Until next trip: Capt. Guy
