kids are kings (and queens) Near shore (inside of 20 miles) billfish
Report:
We baited with some really nice sardines from PW and with a little coaxing from Dennis on the Hot Fun II we went into NMN Culverts instead of going out. Dennis was fishing were I fished yesterday and was having the start of a very good day. When we got there it had slowed down and we started picking at the kings. After and hour and a half with Tyler and Sarah catching 3 kings, one 'cuda and a bonita there was an explosion on the right rigger and we were hooked up to a very pretty sailfish. Charlie and Wendel had no idea that an old fat man could move that fast. Wendel went to the rod with the fish as I cleared the other rods and the down rigger and started to give chase. After 18 minutes, a mile, 14 jumps and an angler change (Wendel has a weak left wrist from an accident and had to give up the rod to Charlie) we had him next to the boat and billed. I brought him into the boat for a Kodak moment and released him no worse for the wear and maybe a little smarter. After high 5's all arround I put the baits back out and we were fishing again. We ended the day with 5 kings, 2 'cudas, 2 bonita and 1 sailfish (we also pulled the hooks on several more fish) and never got more that 10 miles from the beach. A very good day. 'Till nex trip, Capt. Guy

Thanks again Guy for a great day. The kids and I had a wonderful time and looking forward to doing it again.
