Today was more like it. Baited up just South of the pier and went to 9MN. Two whole kings right off and then the 'cudas started in. After a couple of cut up kings and a few 'cudas we moved to PW. On the first set up we got another whole one. After two hours and several more kings and a bunch of 'cudas we had a real screeming run that sounded like a large king. When she came to the boat the first time she was just out of reach with a gaff and made a short run just under the boat, guess what? We got to watch a 6'+ 'cuda bite her tail off. I really hate 'cudas. We ended with 7 kings (4 whole), 6 'cudas and one bonita. Better, now to get away from the 'cudas (really, it's that time of year, you can't get away from them except on land). I'll try again tomorrow. 'Till then, Capt. Guy
