kids are kings (and queens) Near shore (inside of 20 miles)
Report:
Baited at PW and moved offshore to the Barge area because the 'cudas were so thick at the baitwhole. The bite was not hot but it was at least steady. If you got close to the concrete you had a 'cuda but the bait was also scattered arround so you could pick up kings and get them in whole at least some of the time. About 9:15 we hooked up on a second fish of a double that was definately not a king, way to strong. After catching the first fish (a nice king) we followed the second fish for 1/2 an hour before even seeing it and then I couldn't tell what it was for sure. Another 15 minutes had a very large blackfin tuna next to the boat for the gaf (28#s). As I was moving back to the mark I hooked the tuna on the shuttle launched, man what a site from offshore. We ended seeing a sail tailing right in front of the boat, he wasn't interested in what we were dragging though. Very good morning trip: 4 kings, 1 Blackfin and 'cudas/sharks a bunch. 'Till next trip, Capt. Guy
