Well, this update has been a long time coming. I got back from the Bahama trip a little sooner than expected this year. I got back on the 12th of June, put the boat back in the water on the 13th and fished the first charter on the 14th. I fished 10 of the next 18 days, 9 days offshore and 1 day in the river. The catching was good: offshore - 38 kings, 25 'cuda's, 3 bonita, and 8 amberjack; ICW 4 flounder and 6 short reds.
It's now 31 July and I've fished 24 days this month. That's a lot of time on the water. There were 21 days offshore and 3 in the ICW with 3 days of fun fishing with family and friends (yes I fun fish too) included in that. The catches were outstanding and the weather was good for the most part with only two trips canceled for large seas. The catches were: offshore -(trolling) 103 kings, 41 'cuda's, 6 bonita, 4 mahi, 14 sharks (one, a tiger about 7-8 feet released boatside), and one cobia - (bottom fishing on one trip) 10 seabass, 2 triggers, 1 redeye, and 25 short red snapper (we couldn't buy a legal one). Today, the 31st, is a maintenance day with oil change and other needed fixing to be done, then we start all over again for August.
PRICES: My prices are now listed in the left side bar. These prices are current as of Aug 1st and are subject to change with the price of fuel.
Remember: Teach your kids to fish responsibly so there kids will have fish too.
